Manual Update

Go on a Blockchain Account Card. An action allow you to fetch the balance update from blockchain network.

If the system detect a change in the balance, transaction will also be updated to retrieve any new movment.

Setup automated Updated

Under the Blockchain General Setup page, there is different option to schedule update on blockchains wallets.

• Manual Only : will not be updated until user press the « Refresh » action manually
• On Page Opening : is updated when an user open the blockchain account page, with a minimum delay from last udpate.
• Scheduled : the system use job queue to run update on all owner blockchain accounts. Archived accounts are exluded from this update.
• Scheduled + On Page Opening : combinaison of job queue and when the user open the page.

In order to reduce the system workload, if you use Scheduled or On Page Opening Option, we recommand to set a minimum delay betwen update of 60 minutes and a job queue of once a day. It also avoid reaching maximum request per day to the blockchain data provider.
Of course the delay can be reduced if the number of owned account is maintened low or if you have paid API Key with Blockchain service providers.

On existing Blockchain account, the balance and address fields are clickable, they open the default web site configured to explore the blockchain to verify some information outisde of Business central.
